Very nice and professional guys! They fixed my washer in no time and left behind the old part in a bag. Educated me on what's wrong and why it's not working and what they are going to do to make it work. I would definitely Use them again!

I posted in Thumbtack that I needed to fix my dishwasher and within 20 minutes Dan called to let me know he would go check it and let me know how much it would cost me. Dan showed up on the scheduled time and fixed the dish washer and then he called me (I was not there while Dan checking on the dish washer) He said the dish washer is good to go now there was nothing wrong with it. He told me the motor seized up from not being used for so long so he manually turned the motor then restarted the dishwasher in rinse only so it would get some lubrication before trying to turn the motor then he turned it on heavy wash and it works fine and he didn't charge me any fee. I am very impressed with his services not only for his excellent knowledge and experiences but also for his honesty and quick response to my request. I will definitely hire him to repair any of my home appliances and would recommend him to my relatives and my friends.

This was the single worst experience I have ever had with anyone at any profession. I strongly urge everyone to protect yourself...he also took money for parts up front for a project that was never completed. It has now been 5 days since his last response...will include the full detail of everything that happened should anyone be interested (and it may be fun!) On Sunday I spoke to Mr Stricker about coming over. He said he would be here at 6:30 to diagnose and give me a more firm quote. At 7 he said he was finishing a job and would be right there. He then updated to before 8. At 8 he texted that he was 12 mins away and arrived at 8:30. No big deal...he checked things out, said my over was fried, was going to get the parts he needed and I had to pay up front for anything that may come up. He said he would text in the morning to confirm he got the part and be back at 2:30 tomorrow to fix it I texted him at 11:30am and received a response at noon on Monday. He said everything was good and will be here at 2:30. At 3 he texted from another number saying "Running a little behind. I have the part and I will text you when im on the way, hopefully within the hour." At 5:45 I texted him "hello?" and he responded 5 minutes later with "Ill call you in one min". 30 minutes later I texted "what's going on? 4 hours late" and he finally called to say that he didn't get the part, no store had it, but they will have it in the morning and he will be here at 4 tomorrow to install everything. Frustrating, as I've now wasted my entire day having to come home and wait over 4 hours for him to tell me that he never actually had the part... Next day, Tuesday, I text him that I'm home and available at 4. No response, so I text "hello?" at 5. He immediately responds "I'm on the way". 2 hours late I text "are you ok?" He shows up about 3.5 hours late, doesn't have everything he needs to complete the project (he originally estimated 1-1.5 hours for everything and this is only 1 of the 4 projects in fixing the stove). He says he needs another new part from Home Depot and he will be back tomorrow at noon (now 3 days wasted). Wednesday, day 4, supposed to be here at noon, I text when 2 hours late "Hi"...it takes him 2 more hours to respond "Hello, who is this?" Me: "You had an appointment to fix my stove 4 hours ago..." Him (1 hour later): "ok now I know my guys said they went and noone answered the door" Me: "Nope, nobody all day. Waited over 4 hours" Him: "omg they obviously didnt go to your house if youve been there all day. Im going to see who I can get to come out" I told him I needed to head out and could only wait the 5 hours, he asks when I'm available and promises he will be over to fix everything free of charge. I inform him that tomorrow at noon will work. Thursday, day 5, I text him when he's 1 hour late "what time are you coming?" 3 hours later I text him "Still waiting" and 1 hour later I inform him that he is now "5 hours late on day 5" After 8 hours I ask what is going on and tell him I need him to do the job tomorrow at noon or give me my money back. It is now 4th of July weekend and I need a stove. Friday, day 6, text 1 hour late that I need him to do his job or refund the money. At 8 hours I inform him "I have to contact better business at the end of the weekend. I'm sure you understand." It is now 9 days after he was hired and no word. This is a scam. I have contacted Better Business. Please do not waste your money, thanks.

As you noticed the amount of time this customer took to complain he could've finished what he wanted done for free. Customer had an cooktop that had been installed incorrectly and when it was disassembled fell apart. His reaction "oh" not let me pay to fix the problem but hey just go ahead and for it for free. As far as money up front , the part that Erik wanted was $45 with tax was 48. You gave me 60! If you'd like ill give you the $10 and uninstall the part you got installed for free. Do yourself a favor quit crying and GET OFF THE COUCH!
