- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing on my website, but I use a discounted pricing model on Thumbtack primarily to offer my services to people that don't use a professional photographer very often and just need a one time session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best advice I can give is to shop around. Look for photographers with experience and a solid versatile portfolio. Just because someone has good gear it doesn't mean that they know how to use it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm the only graduate from Brooks Institute of Photography in the past 4 decades with a triple major. I also have two associates from CSN. Even with the college degrees the most valuable form of training and/or education are working with the awesome clients that I have and the shear number of photographs I have taken over the past decade.
