FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is fairly straightforward. Private training is more expensive, but often more effective: a trainer travels to you and meets in your home with your dog for about an hour on a recurring basis. Group classes are substantially cheaper, and while we consider the quality of the training to be identical to what is offered in our private classes, there are more handlers and dogs present, so owners that need individual attention may find them to be a less attractive option.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We regularly attend training seminars by Schutzhund USA Judges and trial helpers, as well as drop in at classes & workshops at Universities in the US. We travel internationally to train and show.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I "fell into it," so to speak. I started Las Vegas K9 Training when i was still in school, an avid dog-lover and competitor already, I was bridging the gap that I saw emerging in my own life. I've always loved dogs. It's been all uphill from there.
