I hired K9 behave due to having adopted a rather combative dog from the local shelter. He was quick to respond to my initial request for an assessment, and showed extreme confidence when he first interacted with my dog. Even after getting bitten, he was not even angry or surprised, instead simply noting the issue and adjusting the plan as needed. The trainer was always available via text, flexible with his scheduling, and personable as well. Overall, my dog may not be perfect, but with all the work K9 Behave put into him, he is quite better behaved overall, and with the large amount of training and advice I received, I'm much more confident handling my pet. I'd absolutely recommend this service for folks with difficult animals.

Training was very informative. Very interactive. We were given the tools to begin some training of our own and so far it has been extremely helpful in our journey to house breaking our new fam member. We plan to have a few more lessons as we can see a difference already in our baby after only 1 session .
Details: 0 - 6 months old • Small (16 - 25 lbs) • Private lessons • Puppy training • Biting • Destructive behavior • Leash pulling • House training • My home, venue, etc.

Keynoe is dedicated and easy to understand as a business man, and as a trainer. He happens to be a pit bull expert, but can work with any dog. I have a pitt, and it is important to have a well trained partner. Keynoe has an approach similar to a dog thearapist. I have had more than one lesson, and my 2 year old dog and I have already learned so much!

I contacted K-9 Behave after coming across multiple great reviews online of their training. We are beyond thankful to have met Keynoe. Our dog Lucky all of a sudden became disobedient and destructive, as the family’s schedules changed and we were home less with her. Keynoe was available the same day that I contacted him here on Thumbtack. After just 3 hours of training Lucky was back to letting us know when she had to use the bathroom instead of using it inside. We plan to work with K-9 Behave regularly and could not believe it when we were told that K-9 Behave does boarding, as we haven’t been on vacation since adopting Lucky. Thank you K-9 Behave!
Details: 2 - 10 years old • Medium (26 - 40 lbs) • Board and train at a facility • Aggressive behavior modification • Biting • Destructive behavior • My home, venue, etc. • At the pro’s location

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Working with Alll levels of K-9'S and All needs. We have a wide range of options to fit any budget and schedule from the work at home to the full time schedule.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My best technique is to watch you and your K9 interact naturally in environments. This way I can better see the issues as they arise and how the owner is responding to the K9 and situation (overreacting or under reacting for the situation at hand). Generally I find the anxiety around what the owner thinks is going to happen due to past experiences, which has a lot of influence on the current situations they are experiencing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Training dogs has been a lifelong passion which began when I was very young. This love for caring for dogs is ingrained in generations of my family. Finding strays, my father would teach us, “You let the dog in, you train them, and you get to know the K-9”. These techniques have helped to develop, guide and advance my skills as a trainer. Using positive reinforcements, and staying updated on the newest techniques.
