Introduction: My name is Alex Jordan. As a former division 1 college golfer at UNLV, a Korn Ferry Tour qualifier, and a Nevada State Amateur champion, I have over 15 years of golfing experience. My teaching style consists of on course playing lessons as well as private swing coaching, putting and chipping lessons. I am passionate about helping both new and seasoned golfers improve their game. I have helped people who normally shoot in the 80's recently reach their personal best of 77 by utilizing my specific teaching philosophies. Alex is high level player with a lot of knowledge in golf. Learning from someone who has played at the collegiate level has a lot to offer when it comes to actually playing the game than someone who hasn’t been at that level. On top of course management, he is able to keep things simple when working on swing

I have known Alex Jordan for more than 7 years. I watched him progress from a bag attendant at TPC Summerlin, to winning the Nevada State Amateur, chasing down a former professional golfer on the back nine of the final nine. He went on the become a member of the UNLV heralded golf team, and now, a Professional Instructor. He has a unique instruction technique. Results emanating from a simplistic approach, not camouflaged in fancy-sounding, complicated principles more applicable to professional golfers trying to polish a pre-existing golf game. I have benefitted from Alex’s instruction, much more than from the countless prior “professional instructors”. I cannot too strongly endorse Alex’s approach to golf instruction. He was able to explain things to me that others were unable to do so. And as a result, I was able to build a clean, simple and repeatable golf swing. Give him a chance to do the same for you. You will be glad you did.

I’m an 8 handicap golfer. I recently retired and I wanted to improve and fine tune my game so I met Alex and learned about his collegiate accomplishments at UNLV. After a couple of sessions at the practice area and subsequent practice sessions for 9 holes my game has improved. Alex focused on what I needed. Alignment on approach shots, ball placement on approach shots and lies, slowing down my tempo on the course and putting tempo and follow through on the greens. Chipping technique and sand shots remain my challenge for future lessons.

$60/hour 40$/half hour 35$/half hour for Jr’s 5 lesson package is $260
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial lesson involves a review of their swing and customized adjustment suggestions. Following lessons consist of analysis of implementation of suggestions and continued recommendations for both long and short game improvement. I also provide the option of on course lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from UNLV in business and a UNLV Golf team alum as well as a previous Korn Ferry Tour member. I am the Nevada State Amateur champion.
