- What types of customers have you worked with?
Generally multiple views of a product prototype or walk-through depending on the job. Usually engineering or manufacturing clients need 3D animation showing a parts breakdown, or overall assembly and its functions. In the case of architectural design projects, an animation provides better information pertaining to spacial relationships, environmental impact, or plain ol' landscaping. Some other, less common jobs include logo, packaging, display design for corporate and trade show venues. Along with some HTML and CSS and graphics to finesse a company's site.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Using a computer with special software does not make one an artist or designer. Skill comes with talent, training and experience. The tools do not define how good you are.
