We had 9th Island Handyman come out to remove our old wallpaper, add primer, and add a fresh coat of paint — and the results were amazing! The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and they finished right on schedule without cutting any corners.
Special shout out to Jake and Nate — these two were fantastic to work with. They removed the wallpaper cleanly and efficiently (which, if you’ve ever dealt with wallpaper, you know is no small feat), then added primer to prep the walls properly before adding the paint. Every step was handled with care and it shows in the final result — the walls look flawless.
Highly recommend 9th Island Handyman for anyone in need of quality work done on time. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects!

Great communication, very professional, detailed & worked swiftly. Very happy with his services in helping me put my curtain rods up properly. We’ll be using Jake again, as well as referring him to family & friends. Although, my curtains are too long, we’re very happy with his service.

Aside from a little bit of miscommunication on what the job would entail and slight punctuality problem, all went very well. Jake was on task and stuck to it till the job was done. He adjusted my thinking on how the job might be adjusted and it turned out really well. The results are just fine!

Had an issue with dishwasher and Jake was able to fix it right away. He was polite and efficient. Will be using him again in future.

9th Island Handyman was excellent all around. Friendly, informative and knew what they were doing, and reasonably priced. They got the job done fast, and I highly recommend them, and will call upon them again without a doubt.
