What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary according to many factors and many discounts apply. We suggest clients in need of quotes contact our office.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our inspectors perform the inspection, walk through the house with the customer, go over the conditions noted and then we email the report that day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every year our home inspectors are required to take several hours of additional training. State of Nevada requires 20 hours of continuing education to renew license. Department of Agriculture requires yearly testing and renewals
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Home Pride Inspections inspectors come from construction trades and when you work with other trades you often wonder how they keep their jobs when sometimes their work seems sub standard. So in order to protect your work, you must know theirs and this makes you inspect every other trade you come in contact with. Sometimes it is a natural transition.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Investors, first time home buyers, police, fire military. We perform over 1000 inspections a year
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Price is not the best indicator of Home Inspection services. Our customer service is above average and so are our inspections. Decades of experience and skills cannot be replaced by dollars. Think smart, be safe, call Home Pride Inspections and let go of your worries.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It takes time to learn this trade and time to do a good job. Most houses take about 2-2.5 hours to inspect
