My husband also, being a janitorial cleaner in various parts of LA for big companies- felt the same way!
We started to provide service to our family, friends and neighbors. Now, we have felt it necessary to grow more in our community and surrounding cities!
We combined our ideas and created this company for people like you.
We feel it is our responsibility to teach and provide what we have learned as cleaners in our past experiences!

Hired on Thumbtack
Hired the company to do a VERY thorough deep cleaning of my new house. I explained upfront and EXTREMELY pointed that the house hasn’t been fully cleaned in years, at least two that I know of. Explained exactly what was important and what was not. I explained that the house will be going through a renovation and painting would be first, with that I explained that I needed a light cleaning/washing of the walls and agreed to pay extra for this. I technically live in the house but have moved in very little since I was waiting to have it cleaned. I informed them when arriving that the stuff in the bathroom (shower curtain, rugs etc) was to be removed and put in a trash bag for relocation. I was unaware that there was anything left in one or two of the cabinets but was more than willing to pay any surcharges. The house is 500 sqft and there was 3-4 cleaners. It took them approximately 2hrs or so to complete their work.
Now to the issues: My specific complaints are: the refrigerator was to be cleaned out… I know what was in the refrigerator as I cleaned it slightly upon moving in. It seems that they cleaned it slightly but there was grime, crumbs, sticky residue etc left inside the fridge and freezer. The outside of the fridge wasn’t touched at all. I was given the excuse of it being “grimy “ and they couldn’t clean it properly. Funny that I took a rag, with no solution, and easily removed a portion of it. Next the oven was to be cleaned out and the fridge and oven moved as far away from the wall as possible to clean underneath etc. The oven was not touched AT ALL!
I paid extra for my walls to be cleaned and they were not touched really except for the bathroom. The floors were barely touched as they didn’t even start the floors until I was called to come back and I timed it that from the time they said they were starting the floors to when they were done was 4 minutes. They did do a great job on the bathroom🙂.
I wasn’t given any instructions or information on how I could possibly leave a tip but after seeing the lack of attention to detail and the fact that a few of the stuff that was communicated to be done was ignored I’m glad I didn’t jump the gun with a tip. Funny thing is that I actually will be needing a cleaning service again at least twice more but I will not be re-hiring them. Sad that they were the first ones to give me bad service on Thumbtack after four years of using the app.

Hi Aja,
When you booked this service over the phone you said it was a deep cleaning.
You didn’t say it was a vacant cleaning and that cleaners were going to remove all stuff from inside the cabinets (we charge extra for that because it adds time, no charge was given to you as a courtesy.) We did clean the oven and inside refrigerator. Stated on our contract that you approved does say if there is grime or appliances left in a very bad condition we would try to remove as possible and leave it in a better condition (which was left- according to the photos I can’t really see what was wrong expect a small spot). There was so much grease on the top cabinets that took hours more time than expected to finish. Your kitchen was in a terrible condition prior our cleaners arrival, we do have photos of those as well.
Next, the walls were only charged as “dusting” not removing marks, which also states in our contracts.
Your baseboards were very greasy and with a lot of dust and dirt-those were removed.
We took everything inside of the cabinets as a courtesy for you, but that is something we charge as this was suppose to be your responsibility prior our cleaners arrival. When I spoke to you over the phone twice you claimed you said you didn’t know there were stuff inside. There were pots, mugs, utensils, etc.
You gave me instruction to have cleaners remove everything and place into a bag. And you would take a look at it.
Cleaners were also there almost 3 hours and were 3 cleaners. We have our time stamped when they got there and when they left.
The place was so small we did our best to move from left to right.
In conclusion, we are sad that you decided to place a review and not speak with us directly to remediate the issue, we could have sent a refund or send cleaners back.
We strive for excellence and that’s what we did.
Your poor communication on the things above mentioned did not help us in this situation, as we tried to accommodate you.
