There are not enough words to describe what a kind and caring soul Hana is. She saved my life when a previous designer scammed me, and my job was abandoned. Hana cares! She cares deeply about her work and clients and goes over and beyond to ensure she understands your vision and follows through. She is a hard worker, loves what she does, and is not arrogant like other designers I have worked with on my renovation projects. Hana, I cannot thank you enough for being who you are, for your gifted hands and talents, and for making people feel good in their living spaces. Hana is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend her.

I reached out to Hana through Thumbtack and she responded right away. I explained I was closing on a house in a few weeks and wanted ideas on updating the house to contemporary style. She met me at the house and gave me great ideas based on my wants and needs. She is awaiting on my budget before proceeding on the design and materials. So far I like Hana's responsiveness, professionalism, and ideas. She has been extremely conscientious in costs and where to put my money. I look forward to seeing the end result.

She advertises hourly. Over a month ago we agreed to her rate and told her we needed help picking materials and colors after our house closed (just closed last week). She agreed but she said she had some contractors that could help and we agree to meet with one of them. We drove from LA to Vegas to meet her at 3:30 to start picking colors and then her contractor at 4:00 and both stiffed us. She agree to meet the next morning as per this message “Ok we will meet tomorrow and I will right a bid and once we agree I will collect my retainer so I won’t be charging hourly I will charge you on the whole work firm price.” My answer: “No, I only want independent design services from you by the hour as independent consultant for selecting vanities, colors, flooring, tile and other material choices. I do not want any management services.” Her response: “Good morning oh I see . I think I am not a good fit for that I wish you good luck.” We wasted a whole trip because of her. Decide if you want to hire an interior designer as your contractor and pay upfront rather than when the job is done. Missed 2 meetings, so I have to wonder how will she complete a project on schedule. Sorry Hanna but you need to be honest and upfront with people about your fees. Take out your hourly rate and say you only do the whole job and work off retainer.

Mike I agreed to meet you but you never confirmed our meeting . I texted to confirm I had no response from you we where suppose to do this project long time ago I came over for our first meeting and did a free consultation I gave you free ideas and almost told you the whole plan for the house didn’t charge a dollar . But you stood me out never responded to me yesterday . I don’t think I am a good fit since we are not on the same page . I am very reliable I worked with a lot of Client who could confirm how I am right on point and I go above and beyond for their satisfaction. It is your opinion and good luck with your project .
