- What types of customers have you worked with?
Since I am a designer I work on different types of projects for my clients. The most common is always print design such as business cards, posters, shirt designs, and fliers. The second most common is websites which many times includes content such as graphics.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I designed artwork based on a poem found in the book "Glacier Pen". The author was looking to release a second edition of the book with full color artwork. What I love about the project is that he let me have full artistic control and interpret the artwork in my own way. The design turned out amazing and he loved it! We are currently working on a second poem to design.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Set up a meeting with the person you are interest in and make sure to ask all of your questions. A good designer will be able to answer them with full transparency. Also, make sure that you never pay in full as well as ask for their terms of service. For example, I ask for half down to start the project and the rest when the project is completed. Different people have different procedures.
