- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Discounted rate for Thumbtack clients is $75-$100 (pre-covid rates $120 & $140...and they will likely return, just as a heads-up) for 1hr (I often go beyond an hour if/when a client requires the additional time and I am known to not rush a client because it’s your time and it’s about the client in-session) $75 for individual $100 for couple
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The way I begin is with an initial intake-assessment and interview (interviewing each other) to help discern if you and myself are professionally a good fit so that your time is not wasted.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate degree from the highly esteemed and accredited Northwestern University (NU) and graduate assistant in the program; approved mentor to other graduate students in the same program; and hyper-focused efforts that earned a 3.8gpa. The dynamic program prepared, equipped and has since translated into my becoming a more intuitive professional whom continues to strive towards listening deeply to hear what others have not heard you say...and to...”get it” and then get real and conceptualize and collaborate together with you as a team. NU was a psychodynamic-psychotherapy based program that integrated what is arguably the best evidence based therapy methods available. Additional training has included ACT, DBT, EMDR, Advanced EMDR, and more. My favorites tend to include (1) people-centered therapy, (2) CBT or cognitive behavioral therapy, (3) EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, which is my favorite for helping people with any trauma experience(s). There’s others and yet I’m running out of room here. 😃
