- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices depends on dog breed, size and fur type. Teacup breeds are generally $30-40, small breeds are $40-50, medium breeds are $50-60, large breeds are $60-70 and giant breeds are $65+. There are also add-ons that range from $5-$20 more. Add-ons include: Paw cream, nail polish, facial, teeth brushing and de-shedding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After introducing ourselves, I get to know the pet(s), asking questions regarding the breed, gender, age and grooming preferences. I also prefer to know about any medical conditions/allergies prior to the groom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read about pet care and grooming online often and browse pet supply stores for new tools and technology.
