Introduction: Hello Missy. My name is Devan Reaves. I'm a personal trainer with 15 years of experience. I combine Calisthenics with Athletic conditioning to build muscle, burn fat, and  I have used these disciplines to train NUMEROUS soldiers looking to enter, pass or progress their careers and need more physical stamina strength and prowess. To track progress I do weight, circumference,and body fat measurements every few weeks. Training sessions are either 25 minute high intensity sessions ($30) perfect for those pressed for time and need to get in and out or 50 minute sessions ($50) that are more detailed and exercise goal specific. I normally train at the Lift Factory (mostly first responders. Owners are two firefighters and a juvenile probation officer) and you don't need a membership to train with me.     I have worked with various types of people including those who have never set foot into a gym before, those with years of experience looking for a new approach or way of doing things. I've worked with both young (12) and old (73) and all those in between.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    In deciding upon a personal trainer be certain that your trainer is above all else certified. Many times people believe because they have a certain physique or body type that it qualifies them to give others advice. In bypassing this you cannot be certain that your trainer has an understanding of essentials such as: body mechanics, the kinetic chain, and program design.
