🐾 Welcome to Mountains Edge Private K9 Boarding & Training 🐾 Hi, I’m Nancy! Caring for animals isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. ❤️ When your dog stays with me, they’re treated like family. My home is their home. I don’t use crates or lock dogs behind gates — instead, I provide a safe, loving, and social environment where every pup feels comfortable, cared for, and truly at home. I keep things small and personal. I never board more than five dogs at a time so I can give each one the individual love, attention, and guidance they deserve. Dogs thrive in a pack — not in crowded facilities — and that’s exactly what they’ll find here. For the past eight years, my beloved service dog Charlie has been my right hand. Together, we’ve helped puppies and dogs — especially those with separation anxiety or who’ve come from shelters — learn to feel safe, build confidence, and discover the joy of companionship again. Charlie’s calm presence has been an incredible gift to the dogs who need it most. 🐕💙 I bring decades of hands-on experience, along with certifications in:    •   Dog Behavioral Modification    •   New Puppy Training    •   Pet First Aid & CPR    •   Administration of Medications    •   Cat & Kitten Essential Care My background is rooted in professional K9 training — inspired by my husband, a retired Deputy Sheriff, U.S. Marshal/DEA Agent. 🚔That path led me to work with the Sheriff’s Department trainiers and handlers with search & rescue and drug detection dogs. Over the years, I’ve also fostered, trained, and cared for countless animals, each leaving a paw print on my heart. ✨ With me, your dog is more than a guest — they’re family.
