Introduction: I've been a professional photographer for almost 20 years. The range of clients and personal work I shoot keeps me inspired and at the top of my creative game. I love telling stories of people and places by capturing genuine and candid moments. At the same time finding an artistic side to subtle details in a scene that can help tell a bigger story. Some of my current national clients are; The NY Times and Wall Street Journal. Having family staged photos was never something I was into - Emily has taken the most amazing photos of our daughter and our family- capturing moments and movement that we will always treasure. She takes the time to capture a moment instead of creating one. In our different shoots, she has simply guided us to do different things but staying really comfortable and calming (which is hard with a toddler). I hope she will continue to capture our family for years to come. Bravo!

We hired Emily multiple times to document a variety of live events we produced in New York City. The results, to say the least, were spectacular. We ultimately licensed many of the photos she took for a book we released. Beyond her photographic talent, she's easy to work with, a wonderful person, and a real pro on the job. I would have no hesitation hiring her again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a starting price for every shoot. Then I factor in time for editing and retouching time in post production.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love collaborating and learning more about the people I photograph. Every session is unique to the individual. I don't use the same locations or backdrops for everyone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been shooting professionally for over 18 years.
