About
I'll come to you, anywhere in the greater Las Vegas area to tune your piano; AND I'll come back to check my work and re-tune anything that needs attention within three months for free. As a Registered Piano Technician of the Piano Technicians' Guild and a lifelong musician raised by professional violinists, I tune with my ears and state of the art technology that can hear far more precisely than human ears to adjust each tuning so the instrument sounds its best. You'll wonder why you didn't call sooner.
While I'm there, I can happily clean your piano, too! Many people don't realize how much dust and debris accumulates inside their piano until they see it fully opened up. I have special tools and supplies that allow me to clean the tiny spaces that leave most piano owners scratching their heads, and leave your piano sparkling like new.
I really enjoy helping people get the most out of their pianos, whether they're concert grands from Steinway & Sons or old spinets from grandma.

David was great! He took time to show me some of the issues that were causing decreased playability, including explaining the mechanism and how it could be repaired. The tuning is great and the piano sounds fantastic. Will definitely be calling again the next time I need piano maintenance.

Dan was great, very professional. He walked me through the issues with my piano, explained how tuning worked and other aspects of my piano that I didn't know, and efficiently cleaned and tuned it. I look forward to working with him again.

Dave arrived on time and told us the tuning would take about three hours. The piano had not been tuned in years and it was suggested that we should clean the entire inside of the piano. I agreed and when the piano was opened it was filthy. Dave cleaned the entire piano and tuned it to perfection. In all he was In my house for six hours and didn't ask for any additional money. The whole experience could not have been better. I"d rate it t better than five stars.

David was very professional, friendly and easy to work with. He arrived on time and had my 6 Foot grand piano adjusted and tuned within the estimated time. After being moved three times recently, it was not sounding its best and had some rattles and noise and a funky pedal. After David's work my piano sounds great and is a joy to play again. He did a great job and I will have him return for regular tunings.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to understand how you use your piano to determine how to help you get the best out of it. For instance, professional musicians may play along with a number of other instruments, for which I might slightly tweak the tuning style. Or if I know you have a new beginner in the house, I won't remove the note letter name decals when I clean the keyboard. :-)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Becoming a Registered Piano Technician takes years of study before attempting to pass a series of difficult exams. I've had the benefit of learning from piano technicians who've come before me as well as my contemporaries, ongoing education through seminars and conferences, and an ever-growing body of experience, all built atop a musical upbringing and a curiosity for how to make things fit together and work properly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both my parents growing up were violinists. After my first career in IT, a long time family friend who'd been a piano technician for decades suggested I might be good at it. Fast forward a few years and I'm the president of the local chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
