Nathan took the job on a holiday weekend and at short notice. He was on time & worked quickly. He was creative in his ideas for poses & groupings. He was conscious of lighting and backgrounds. He had great ideas for getting photos of the kids. He shot everything we wanted and more. We were very happy we chose such a cooperative, friendly and professional photographer for our once in a lifetime celebration. Thanks Nathan!

Nathan was more than a photographer for us during our wedding in Las Vegas. We are from the east coast and were unfamiliar with the area and weren't sure what we wanted our photo shoot to entail. Knowing this, Nathan went out of his way to accommodate us in every imaginable way. He made himself readily available at all times - always quick to respond via text or to answer our phone calls with our many questions and concerns. He made fantastic recommendations as to points of interest and photo op locations. He even found our officiant! We had not considered hiring Elvis and when he mentioned others had done that in the past, we were in! He did all the booking and arrangements with Elvis and even when TWO of them cancelled he continued to work and find another suitable replacement. He didn't HAVE to do any of this, but his generosity knows no bounds and for that we will always be thankful. On the day of our wedding, he was punctual, helpful, friendly, and a complete professional. He did exactly what we needed him to do, offering guidance, direction, instructions, and tips to improve our shots. He did more for us than any photographer we've ever used for a reasonable rate. We really can't say enough good things about him, his professionalism, and his work. All in all, it was nothing short of a pleasure meeting and working with him on our most special of days. Nathan responded within minutes of my request through Thumbtack (I'd never heard of this service before and I was skeptical at first). He texted some information and we eventually spoke on the phone. We set a time for a day or two later to meet for the photos. When we arrived, he greeted my wife and I at the door of the building where he shared time in a studio. He did the same when we returned to provide the balance of the payment. I know he is still honing his skills, but he has already developed a huge skill set and expertise. I had a professional, in-studio, "corporate shot" years ago, and paid a lot of money for ONE photo. But did a much better job, particularly given the subject he had to photograph. I hate letting anyone take my photo because it reminds me of what hard work, stress, and years do to a person. Nathan had quoted me a price much lower than I expected to pay. When I picked up the photos, he said that because I purchased so many, he would discount those also. When we paid Nathan, he told us that we'd given him too much money, but we refused to accept the discount. Nathan needs all the help (clients) he can get to become well-established and I predict he will become very sought-ought very soon. I just hope I can convince him to make time in his schedule if any of us need more photos once he's "famous". Rick

I knew from Nathan's first response that he would be great. He's responsive, makes good suggestions and is very flexible. Professional and friendly. We're very happy with our photos, and that weird circle one where we were all lying on the floor is now our Whatsapp group chat photo. You done did good, Nathan. You done did good.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes the session, gentle edits such as lighting and cropping, and a set number of digital images which includes a copyright release. You also always have the option to upgrade your package to "All the Images"!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I strive to provide a positive experience during the photoshoot, and of course the most important part of my work is a good end-product. So when a client hires me, I immediately start planning the photoshoot with the client. I ask questions to ensure that the final product will be exactly what they want. Then, once we are set on what exactly you need, we meet on a scheduled day and make magic happen!
