FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lessons are straightforward with no hidden fees. Private swim lessons are $45 per hour. I also offer shorter 30-minute sessions for $25 if needed for beginners or younger swimmers. If someone is just getting started, I’m flexible on session length so we can build comfort in the water without overwhelming them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by figuring out the swimmer’s comfort level in the water and what they’re trying to improve. First session is pretty relaxed — just getting a feel for how they move in the water, breathing, and basic technique. From there, I build each lesson based on what they need most, whether that’s confidence, form, or endurance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 10 years of competitive swimming experience. I’ve trained and competed with several swim programs including NAC in Nashville, Golden West Swim Club in Huntington Beach, and SET (Saddleback El Toro Barracudas) in Mission Viejo. Being part of swim teams and training camps gave me a strong understanding of technique, discipline, and how swimmers actually develop over time in structured environments. I’m newer to teaching professionally, but my foundation comes from years in competitive swimming and training environments.
