Jay outperformed our expectations and even came back a second time to retake a few pictures that he was not happy with. We would definitely recommend him for any photo project.

Jay and his son did an incredible job at our wedding! They were very professional and very nice. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. You would think with how awesome of a job they did they would cost an arm and a leg, but they are more then affordable. We got quotes from several photographers and Jay beat a lot of them by a substantial amount. I’m really glad we chose them to shoot our precious day! I would definitely recommend him for anything you need a photographer for!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing for events and sports varies. Portraits and headshots generally cost $60 session fee plus $20 per final image. Residential real estate projects generally cost $75 for houses with 1-3 bedrooms and $100 for houses with 4-6 bedrooms.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I spend time to find out what my clients really want from the photo session. Good photographs have meaning to the client and I can only provide that meaning by understanding the client's goals. Ideally, I like to meet with the client in person prior to the session to discuss the client's goals and desires and to plan the session. I also want to make sure that all of my client's questions are answered before we start.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been taking pictures for more than 20 years, and I received my first informal training from a friend who was a professional photographer. In addition to extensive on-the-job training and experimentation to learn what works and what doesn't work in different conditions and with different equipment, I routinely attend professional seminars, conferences and workshops to continue to improve my skills. I believe that I can always improve and I'm always striving to deliver a better product.
