- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients normally find me through vet referrals or internet searches. They contact me from my ******* and I will follow up with a ************** or ***** usually within 24-36 hours. We discuss short and long-term goals, how I would approach the training, and then set an appointment to meet. First meetings include a bit of Q&A, some coaching on the mechanics of training, and then a bit of work with the dog. I like to look at what your dog can already do and then take that to the next level of excellence or combine it with other behavior modification methods. I will not re-invent the "wheel." I will show you how to effectively communicate with your dog using a marking signal and I will show you the correct way to use reinforcement. After this first meeting, you can decide on purchasing more lessons.
