- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the type of service, system components, property conditions, accessibility, and the scope of work required. We believe in transparent pricing and will explain the expected costs before proceeding with any work. For solar repairs, we typically begin with a diagnostic service to identify the actual cause of the problem. If additional repairs, replacement parts, or labor are required, we will provide an estimate before moving forward. Whenever possible, we also help customers determine whether failed equipment may still be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. This can significantly reduce the customer's out of pocket cost. Our goal is not to recommend unnecessary work. We focus on identifying the problem first and providing the most practical and cost effective solution to get the system operating properly again.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by understanding the customer's goals, current energy usage, property, and existing electrical system. From there, we evaluate the site and recommend an appropriate solution based on the customer's actual needs. For new solar installations, our process typically includes site evaluation, system design, engineering, permitting, utility interconnection, material procurement, installation, inspection, and Permission to Operate. We keep our customers informed throughout the process so they understand what is happening and what to expect next. For service and repair projects, we first diagnose the issue before recommending repairs. Our goal is to identify the actual cause of the problem rather than simply replacing components unnecessarily.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has hands on experience with more than 1,000 residential and commercial solar installations, electrical systems, energy storage, system diagnostics, equipment replacement, and solar monitoring. Our technicians regularly work with equipment from leading manufacturers, including Enphase, SolarEdge, Qcells, and other major solar brands. We also stay current with manufacturer requirements, local building codes, permitting requirements, utility interconnection standards, and evolving solar technology.
