Hello, my name is Jake. I am a current student at the University of Nevada in Reno. I started playing basketball in second grade, and truthfully, I was not very good. I went to trainers all through my elementary/middle school years and fine tuned my fundamentals and skills. By the time I was in high school, I became the first freshman to make my high school varsity team in over 10 years. I played and started on the varsity team in all 4 years of high school, won defensive player of the year for 2 years in a row, was elected team captain 3 years in a row, and led the team to the playoffs each year I was on it. I played in the community college basketball for 2 years and eventually decided it is time to put my time and efforts into school fully. Currently, I am missing the sport more than anything. I am a referee in the Reno area, and now, I am looking to train and pass on the skills and fundamentals I learned to others. I will tailor any training and intensity to the individual, depending on age and skill and what he/she needs to work on the most.

We set a schedule that works for you, and we can accomplish a lot in just 30 or 60 minutes. Additionally, one-on-one coaching for basketball is available with myself, a former PAC-12 college athlete.
