He consulted us on design and material choices, and he and his team worked incredibly hard with high level of detail to ensure our bathroom was top quality. Weve worked with Copious Interests for about three years and have had a consistently excellent experience.Damon has handled rebuild work for us after substantial water damage, along with painting and general construction projects. His texture work is exceptional. We cannot tell where his drywall and stucco patches are.Jessica manages the office, and together they run a professional, organized operation with clear and responsive communication.Damon also evaluated an investment property for us as a home inspector, and that inspection saved us from a major headache by identifying issues before we moved forward.Damon hires great people. His crew has always been respectful, polite, and professional, and we feel completely comfortable having them working unsupervised in our home.We trust Copious Interests and would absolutely work with them again. I would be wary of hiring this company. I am planning a bathroom remodel (replacement of bathtub and surround), and received a referral for this company from Home Depot. Damon came to my house to see the project site and get my specifics for the remodel. He told me that I would have to raise the height of the shower head (currently 74" above drain to 78" above drain) to meet the current building code. I contacted my city's building code office about this, and was told that my city does not have a minimum height requirement for shower head placement. When I received the proposed contract from Copious Interests, it stated that the bathtub drain placement would not be moved, even though the new bathtub will be 5 inches narrower than the current bathtub. Not sure how this is mathematically possible without moving the wall behind the bathtub. This company's price quote was also ~$5,000 higher than other quotes I have received. I will not be hiring this company, and warn others considering them to be careful.I received the response to my review from the owner of Copious Intersts on Apr 27, 2026, I did not "misunderstand" his bid proposal. I did not feel that it was worth my spending any more time with a contractor who had clearly lied to me about the height of the shower head. And his quote was $5000 higher than the company that I did hire. (BTW, he was not the only contactor that I got a bid for this project who lied to me. Be careful who you hire.)

I do not appreciate being called a liar. We automatically bring what we work on to IBC and IPC standards, although it may not have been a local requirement, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. I am thankful you never hired us, we dodged a bullet.
