- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I enjoy helping people see the best way to get their msg out. For instance, I have a client that was promoting a convention in Reno for retired pilots that was taking place during the Reno Air Races. It was a great venue for his group, yet after the first mailer we sent -- which put the focus on the venue as the big draw, he was facing objections from many that they'd already been to Reno for the Air Races in the past ... so for his follow-up mailer, I suggested we focus on the "people" -- that the main draw of the convention should be reconnecting with old friends and colleagues in a fun place of shared interest. With that, our mailer featured dozens smiling faces of people who'd attended past conventions ... results from that mailer far surpassed the first mailer, and many of their past attendees were especially thrilled to be featured on the piece. I love it when a new plan comes together and brings solid results.
