I strive to create timeless images that capture true emotion. I favor a photojournalistic, candid style, but often employ other styles — including classic, editorial, and fine art — to help tell your story.
I offer photo + video packages for those looking for both options, and also offer a digital photo booth through my other brand, Alpine Photo Booth.
I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember — from making short films as a kid with old-school camcorders, to getting my first "professional camera" in 2007. I love visual storytelling, and I’d be honored to be your photographer.

Matt was an absolute GEM! He was wonderful to work with, quick to respond/communicated clearly… and was super flexible (with our family of 6 adults and 3 young kids), and was even able to get some additional pics with my gram. His pricing is incredibly fair and he got some great family photos for us during our vacation in Tahoe!

Matt did an amazing job shooting our family reunion pictures at Lake Tahoe. He was very flexible and able to take our pictures with short notice. Matt worked quickly to coordinate our four families and 19 people, to finish the photo shoot before sunset ended. Each family was able to get all the pictures they wanted with time to spare. The pictures will be something our family will always cherish.
