I am very disappointed, dissatisfied and frustrated to report that this cleaning company cuts corners. They started off well with us and I got a good first impression. They did well cleaning the first few times after we hired them for our STR property or so I thought. They do well with making things LOOK very pretty with the way they fold towels and make beds but come to find out after a few of our own visits to the house we discovered they were cutting corners from not washing all comforters between guests (yes I have proof one of which is when I crawl into my own properties bed and the comforter smells like armpit sweat, that’s a problem), not changing out clean shower liners, not filling soaps after every guest and on top of that failing to inform us when supplies would run low. Then when I tried addressing these issues with the owner, he lashed back with “We are not charging you for deep cleaning, or management property.” What???? No one asked him to manage my property, I do that myself but when a cleaning company is hired to do a STR aka Airbnb cleaning there are standards like hotels have to thoroughly disinfect and wash everything that people may use to ensure QUALITY! They are supposed to be the eyes to let us know what is happening after guests go and what needs to be replenished so that we CAN replenish and provide for them. This is plain COMMON SENSE in STR world. I hired them to provide STR cleanings. That comes with specific standards these people were not willing to do their due diligence to provide high quality, just make it “look” like they do. Be careful if you’re looking for STR cleanings, these people cut corners big time. Don’t hire them unless you’re planning to be checking in on your property often to catch them. One more thing, his communication could use improvements, several times I was left hanging, waiting for responses from him and having to remind him to answer requests or questions. I will finish with saying that a few of the cleaners I did get to meet early on were very kind and did a good job and were responsive when I spoke to them in person. The problems started when he started subbing out people and new people were coming whom clearly did not do well, one of which was caught smoking on camera on my property. Not ok.
