I had the opportunity to work with the Biggest Little Movers on February 5th, 2011 the experience was definitely one I would recommend. I live in California and my mother lives in Reno so coordinating moving help posed a challenge. My mother contacted the Biggest Little Movers and secured two movers for the work ahead. The movers, Matt and Mike, coordinated with my mother the move time and date, confirmed in advance that there were no changes to the job, arrived early (and more importantly, ready to work) and stayed until the job was done. Both my mother and I were pleased with their attitudes, their desire to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction and the care they took with my mothers belongings. At no time did I think we had a couple of college kids who did not care quite the contrary. I felt they handled themselves with a professional demeanor, asked questions during the move and knew how to move the belongings without damage or injury. Add to this that they were courteous and good guys only added to the positive experience. It is with pleasure that I am able to recommend Matt Burgoyne and his company, Biggest Little Movers, to anyone planning a move. We contacted this group through their entry on Craigslist. My query was answered promptly and clearly with terms and availability. Matt and three others were about ten minutes early, and dove right in. They worked hard, were up to the challenge of our heaviest pieces of furniture, and took care to avoid damaging anything. They did a good job of packing the truck, and were thoughtful about moving furniture into tricky places. They worked with good spirit and humor. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't believe it to be too complicated but here is the pricing breakdown. 2 Hour Minimum First 2 hours with 2 men - $90 First 2 hours with 4 men - $180 Each addition hour - $20/man Specialty items like pianos and pool tables will be priced upon inspection.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Trust who you are hiring! In this industry you place alot of trust in the company you hire, whether or not it is my company make sure you trust who you are allowing into your home. Every single one of my employees I would trust with my personal belongings.
