We recently had the pleasure of working with Christo for a major plumbing issue in our home, and we couldn't be more satisfied with his service. Christo called us right away and promptly arrived within an hour to assess our situation, which initially seemed like a straightforward leak in our main sewer line. During his inspection, he discovered that our century-old pipe had cracked, stretching all the way from the basement to the backyard—a much larger problem than we had anticipated.
Throughout the entire process, Christo was extremely communicative and patient, taking the time to explain the issue and the necessary repairs in detail. He showed empathy for the problem being much bigger than anticipated and was fair with his pricing and approach. His professionalism was evident as he consistently showed up on time and even completed the work faster than his initial estimate. We were particularly impressed that he accommodated us by working over the weekend, minimizing disruption as much as possible. He tested extensively to make sure that he was leaving us in a solid (and dry!) state and even cleaned up considerably, going above and beyond what we initially called him to do.
Christo's expertise and dedication truly put us at ease during a stressful situation. His ability to handle unexpected challenges with grace and efficiency sets him apart from other plumbers we've encountered. I posted a job last night and Christo responded in under 10 minutes with a quote and appointment for this morning. He was on time, quick, professional and neat. He replaced two sink faucets with sprayers in under an hour. I will definitely contact him again for plumbing jobs.

This was my first Thumbtack experience & what an amazing experience it was since I dealt with Christo at Original21 Plumbing! I cannot recommend him enough!
My tub was a hot mess: water wasn't draining & sludge had come up (cos I tried plunging; I wasn't successful ofc). I needed help. Christo was the first to contact me (within a 5 minutes of posting on TT) & he was available immediately. He asked for photos of my tub & I gave him more details. I also told him that I'm in the middle of moving & organizing things out of my apartment so the place would be a mess. Christo was nothing short of gracious & professional.
Most importantly, he fixed my tub's awful clog/pooling water problem. He was clean, efficient & personable & now all is in working order! His work was exactly what he quoted me which was very reasonable & fair. I also got an amazing restaurant recommendation to boot so I had a great morning :-)
Christo is in my directory now for any of my or my fam/friends' plumbing issues (hopefully there won't be any issues but if there are Christo & Original21 are my go-to). I recommend him 1000%!

Christos arrived within a few hours of my contacting thumbtack about my plumbing problem. He was courteous, friendly and HONEST. He replaced the damaged pipes with high quality pipes so that I had a functional kitchen sink again. He said he would come back with the proper tools to fix the remaining minor issue. Something told me I could trust this guy to come back and he did exactly that. He knows what he’s doing and he delivers quality service at a very good price. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to feel you can trust a contractor. You must call him for any plumbing issue. He is that good and that HONEST.
