DanyMakeup & Hair is a New York City–based makeup and hairstyling service led by senior international artist Daniela Lai, with over 25 years of experience across Milan, London and New York.
I specialize in bridal, special occasion, photoshoots, editorial, e-commerce, corporate and on-camera hair and makeup, production, private events and destination bookings.
My approach is always personalized, polished and natural. I focus on enhancing each client’s features while creating a look that feels elegant, modern and appropriate for the occasion or project.
I provide on-location services throughout New York City, Long Island, the Hamptons and surrounding areas.
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled service.

Dany recently did my hair and makeup for my maternity shoot and I loved it! The makeup was beautiful and really emphasized my eyes and really held up so well for the entire day! The lipstick even stayed in place without touch-ups! I love the way she also did my hair. Soft, flowy waves that were perfect for maternity photos! The makeup was natural but enough to look great in photos . I would definitely recommend her for any important event. She is on time, very friendly and is efficient!
