I've made a few long distance moves now, state to state, and this is my first and last time using Available Movers. The company is the WORST I have experienced as far as communication, professionalism, and just plain doing their job. It's not rocket-science, you pick up items, drive them, and drop them off. The fact that they cannot keep track of customer's belongings is RIDICULOUS. Someone needs to teach them how to itemize items on a packing slip and YOU SHOULD CHECK EVERY LITTLE BOX AND ITEM BEFORE the movers drive away with your money. 3 items were undelivered and now I have to continue dealing with this horrible company through the claim process as no one, of course, can tell me where my three missing items are. Customer service doesn't get back to you. They are NOT open always. I don't know why it says that on this Facebook page. They don't answer the phone on Sundays and they transfer you to customer service to deal with you (whom don't give you any answers either). They are only helpful, pleasant, and responsive when they are trying to make the sale and take your deposit to secure the move. I used a GREAT company, completely reliable and professional a couple of years ago but they wanted to charge me DOUBLE of what Available Movers quoted me. Unfortunately, I made the decision to save half the money by using Available Movers and now I have HALF a dining room table set. WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AVAILABLE USERS. 1 star is being generous.

In the past 7 years we've used Avialable Movers three times across New York and now New Jersey, and we will be using them again soon when we move to our new house. They continually supply us with such great service all around that every time we move it is one less thing I need to worry about. I highly suggest working with this moving company as they are caring and very accommodating. They worked closely with us to ensure we get the dates we needed for our move. They called to confirm dates and times. The movers were gentle and professional with packing and unpacking all of our things. The moves have always gone smoothly and we are very happy to be using their services again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Where do I even begin. First things first, they never showed up at the day/time they said they would. And when I called they tried to blame it on me, saying I didnt confirm the timethey called me one time and never left a number for me to call back. Then they tried to charge me an extra $350 for expediting the shipment that evening. Absolutely horrible. When I tried to complain, I was passed around to 5 different people, was sent over to a full voicemail box, etc. After a cross country move, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with.Worse? When the boxes did arrive, they looked as though they had been dropped from a three story building to the ground. Completely mangled, partially opened. They lost one box of all my dishes, pot lids, and serving bowls - good stuff I had received for my wedding. And they had NO explanation.What did arrive was a completely mess. Almost all of my artwork - which I paid a LOT of money for and/or were personal creations done by me or family members - was nearly destroyed. All of the frame glass was broken. A few of the canvasses were ripped. Glassware (champagne flutes, wine glasses, water glasses), broken. I have to go out and buy all new things...PLEASE, I beg you, do not use these guys!! If you want your things to arrive in one piece, please avoid Available Movers at all costs. Incredibly disheartening and frustrating. I dont complain often, but I had no choice this time around.
