Hired Yimy Perez to repair/restore molding in my DR and LR. He sent me pictures of previous work and we agreed upon a price. Even though he gave me a quote for the entire project (not per hour or day) he was late on most occasions despite calling to rearrange for another time to meet at my home. His work was sloppy and rushed. He didn't restore my moldings but rather smudged compound on areas needing to be touched up with his fingers. Also, lines were not straight in many areas. My molding did not look like the pictures he sent me as a representation of his work. He said he under quoted the job and that I did not provide the correct dimensions of the room. I checked the proposal and I did give the correct dimensions and he agreed to do the work for the agreed upon price even after he arrived. He was constantly trying to convince us to hire him for additional projects instead of focusing on the task at hand. I am very disappointed because I feel he misrepresented himself and then did not respectfully bow out. He proceeded to do a shoddy repair of my moldings. I will now have to look for someone to correct the botched job he left me with.

I tried to contact them if there was something wrong, or something they didn't like, so I can redo it without any charge, but they never answered back. I also let them know beforehand if that there was something wrong, to let me know, or contact me. Her husband was watching me work the whole time, and at the end of the job, he said there wasn't any problem, and I did a good job. This job was just for plastering, but I wasn't trying to convince him, I was offering more projects to help them out, because it required more than plastering to make it look nice, free of charge. I was willing to do more and fix anything they didn't like, but they never contacted me back.
