Sandy is a wonderful sewing teacher! Her class is fun and exciting, while also creating a comfortable and relaxed environment to learn in. As a beginner, I really appreciate how she makes sewing feel approachable and enjoyable.
It’s also great that we’re both anime fans! I’m especially excited to keep learning from Sandy and eventually develop the skills to make different cosplay outfits and bring some of my favorite characters to life. I’m really looking forward to continuing my sewing journey with her!

Sandy is overall an excellent sewing teacher! Just in the few classes I had with her, I learned so much about the sewing machine & threading techniques. She is very patient- the perfect teacher for beginners especially. 10/10 recommend booking your sewing classes with her.

I haven’t sewn in many years. I needed help getting my sewing machine set up, threaded, and go through basic stitches and tension. It was a great experience and she knew exactly what I needed and WAS SO PATIENT when I was having trouble with threading my machine’s needle! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is a little lower than others as I am still new in my opinion to the field.
All alteration services are final once the garment is inspected, approved, and accepted upon pickup. Because labor cannot be undone, fees cover time rendered and are non-refundable. If any fit adjustments are needed, please notify us within 3 days of pickup.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask what they know first and go from there. If it’s mending I ask to see the garment so I can see if I am able to fix the problem.
