Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! Work was done with no estimate, no pricing disclosure, and no authorization, then an inflated bill was presented afterward. Two licensed boiler professionals confirmed the charge was nearly double the fair market rate. The contractor billed the tenant directly instead of the property owner, taking payment without approval because tenant felt obligated to pay in that moment— completely inappropriate. This involved an elderly family member, and concerns were met with dismissive, aggressive, and insulting communication instead of accountability. He yelled on phone and hung up when I expressed that what he did was wrong. This feels less like a mistake and more like taking advantage of urgency and lack of knowledge. Proceed with caution. Get everything in writing — or don’t use this contractor at all.
