- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I charge $60/hour ($45/45 minutes, $30/30 minutes) if you come to me, I do charge an additional $20 travel fee if you'd like me to come to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first question is always: What kind of music do you like? Whether or not someone's played before, they'll always have a style they prefer. From there, we dig into what makes that style tick: Song structure, theory, basslines... you name it and we'll cover it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree from the Berklee College of Music, and additionally worked as a peer music tutor during my time there. I've been teaching privately for a decade, and have developed my own song-based teaching method that has proven successful.
