- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing system is not necessarily complicated, however prices vary for the different types of certification. Depending on the type of course you need, price will be given accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. Every 5 years American Heart Association (AHA) changes the way CPR is done, therefore every 5 years we need to take a class in those new changes and how to implement them. We also need to be re-certified every 2 years as per the AHA CPR standards. In addition to these classes, our instructors are also EMT's and Paramedics, each of which needs to be re-certified every 3 years in the state of New York.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I got into my line of work because my mother is a Paramedic for Staten Island University Hospital, and has been working/teaching for the last 25 years. i decided to follow her footsteps into this field.
