- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. It's time and material. Time: Weekdays (8AM-6PM) - $85 Per hour Nights and weekends - $125 Per hour (Time and a half) I do not prorate time, meaning: Minimum charge is one full hour, Material: Varies by job, and except for rare cases, cannot be fully estimated prior to start of the job. (For example, if I need to fix a toilet that's leaking to the next floor, it could be the toilet is ok, but pipes below are broken, it could be the toilet is cracked, it could be neither and just the toilet must be reset. Therefore
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. I try to gather as much information as possible as relates to the task, or problem at hand. 2. Whenever possible, and/or relevant, I ask the customer to text or email me pictures 3. I determine whether I'm able to do the job, and if yes, when. 4. Tell customer my pricing, and schedule an appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides for lots of on the job experience, I've also studied, and graduated a 7 month comprehensive plumbing curriculum at Berk Trade school in Queens.
