Hello! I'm Kate, a visual artist with a passion for helping others learn about creative practice and reach their artistic goals. I worked with children as a studio assistant before becoming a private art instructor and enjoy engaging students in discussion about their work, and encouraging growth in whatever medium they prefer. My method of teaching is to identify goals with students, and help them develop their artistic skills and voice accordingly with the use of customized lesson plans and projects. I specialize in drawing, painting, and digital art, AP portfolio prep - and love to help develop comic book projects, illustrations, technical drawing skills, as well as painting skills for beginners or intermediate learning artists of all ages.
