Introduction
Hey drummers! Learn to groove to the music you love! My name is Dani Danor. I am a professional drummer and teacher. Drums and music have always been my biggest passion. My number one goal in teaching is to get my students as excited as I am about this incredible instrument. And why shouldn't they? This is one of the the few (if not the only) instruments that use all four limbs simultaneously. How crazy is that? Imagine how many rhythms, sounds and melodies can be created? Endless! Drums are the heart of the music all around the world! Whether it's rock 'n roll, funk, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, samba, or electronic music, the drums are what make everything feel so good! If you too would like to begin (or continue) exploring this amazing world of rhythm and sound, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a lesson. I teach at my studio in Crown Heights as well as at the students' homes. All ages and levels are welcome! Feel free to contact me for more information. All the best, Dani A little about me: * Graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston * Performed in music festivals worldwide including Montreal Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz in Marciac, as well as renowned jazz clubs worldwide such as Blue Note, Birdland, Jazz Standard, Ronnie Scott’s, Bimhuis, New Morning and The Cotton Club. * Artists I've worked with Include Grammy nominated Jazz Vocalist Cyrille Aimee, Jazz Guitarist Peter Bernstein, as well as rock star Cinjun Tate, and legendary funk bass player Fred Thomas. * 15 years of teaching experience, both privately and through schools in the NY Metro area including Mark Murphy's Music, Tone Academy, and Music school of Westchester.

Dani has been an awesome encouragement and goes above and beyond what I would expect from a drum instructor. He helped me with my drums and finding a practice space.... and his lessons are a great combo of technique and fun. I'd highly recommend.

My 10 year old son has been taking drum lessons with DD for more than a year now. He is a wonderful teacher and is very patient. My son does not always give his best focus / concentration when it comes to learning. DD is able to provide new and interesting materials to keep him interested and inspired every week. In addition, DD is super punctual and easy to work with when it comes to scheduling. I'm so glad that I found your profile online! Thank you, Dani!

My son enjoys learning from Mr. Danor. He is not rigid in his teachings, but very flexible. He shows patience and caters his lesson to the actual drummers skill set. Drum lessons are fun for my son and that brings a smile to my face.

Dani has made the learning experience really fun! He's done his best to tailor the lessons to my interests and abilities, while also pushing me to try new things and bring my skills to a higher level. Whether experienced or new to drumming, I would highly recommend Dani for both young and adult learners.
