Simon was the only trade contractor I used on a recent renovation that showed up on time every day and performed quality work as promised. It is incredible how not one other contractor was able to do this. Simon has a pride in his work that I have rarely seen before (and I have 7 years of commercial construction experience). His attention to detail is phenomenal. He doesn't accept subpar work even if he has to stay 3 times as long to do the job right.

Simon was so helpful with my small renovation. He came with a folder showing me different types of crown and wainscoting styles for me to choose from. He educated me and went over details that I didn't even think of. He was always punctual & even mopped up after he finished the job. It was such a pleasure working with him & I'll be calling him again for our next renovation. -Laura

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, I’ll ask for inspiration photos so I can fully understand the clients vision. On trim jobs, I like to bring a portfolio of options (moldings, designs, etc) so we can pick through what would work best (scaling, budget, etc ) for their renovation & their home.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went through the union carpenter apprenticeship. Served an apprenticeship through a master carpenter before entering the union.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Making sure the contractor is intentional with design. In remodeling/construction one thing often effects another— being mindful of layout & thoughtful for design go a long way in having a beautiful home.
