Hired on Thumbtack
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company based on my experience. After submitting a request through Thumbtack, I have received at least 30 phone calls from them. I repeatedly declined the calls, yet they continued calling back-to-back.
I specifically told Mike that I did not want to be called and asked him to communicate with me by text instead. That request was completely disregarded, and the calls continued, from different numbers.
There is a difference between following up with a potential customer and relentlessly contacting someone who has made it clear they do not want phone calls. This has been extremely intrusive, unprofessional, and enough for me to decide that I would never do business with this company.
If this is how aggressively they pursue someone before they are even a customer, I have no interest in finding out what dealing with them after hiring them would be like.
