Jordan Stackhouse - Guitar and Bass Lessons

My name is Jordan Stackhouse, and I have been an actively performing musician for the past 10 years, playing guitar & bass in many groups throughout the tri-state and NYC music scenes. Besides private instruction, I also teach at In Tune (Maplewood NJ) and previously at Paz Music Academy (Kearny NJ). I'm dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals and gain confidence on their instrument. I provide tried & true practice methods as well as more holistic approaches to honing one's unique musical voice. My primary strengths lie in rock, blues, and jazz styles of composition & improvisation. My students range from absolute beginners to more advanced players that are looking to expand their technical ability and their understanding of music theory. I am patient and adaptive to different learning styles and personality types & work well with students of all ages. In addition to teaching the fundamentals, my experience playing in various musical projects throughout the years allows me to give guidance on how to effectively bring your ideas to life through recording, playing with others, and eventually booking gigs. I am based in Park Slope Brooklyn and my studio is in Downtown Brooklyn near the Barclays Center. If necessary, I am happy to travel to you.
