- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A service call fee includes both the trip fee and diagnostic fee. This is the cost to have an appliance repair technician come out to the customer’s home or business and diagnose the problem as to why the appliance is not working properly. After diagnosis, the technician can provide the customer with an estimate of how much the repair will cost. Even if a customer does not approve the repair, the service call fee is still due. Diagnosis is free if you proceed with the repair.
