Introduction: Hi! I'm a classically trained fine artist, comic artist, and illustrator. Having earned a Master's Degree in Visual Storytelling from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and a double BFA in painting and printmaking from Purchase College, I am highly qualified to bring your story to life-- and to teach you how to tell your own story too! In addition to being a working illustrator and artist in Brooklyn, I am also an art tutor with more then 10 years of experience teaching art to people of all ages and skill levels. My approach to teaching art is unique, I first conduct a thorough interview with the potential student in order to determine their interests, skills, and goals. After this, my student and I will work together to develop a bespoke curriculum just for them. I believe that everyone can be an artist, they just need to find the right teacher. Because of my specialized teaching methods, I work very well with neurodivergent students. The surprising interests and curiosities of my students have inspired some of my own best work, my students have become my creative partners.
