FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing goes by a case by case basis depending on medium requested, level of difficulty and size. There is also a 15 percent deposit required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will thank them first of all of course because it is such an amazing feeling to have anyone appreciate your art. I will begin by brainstorming with them on ideas such as what size canvas they are looking for, if they want an oil painting, acrylic painting or water color piece. I want to know what emotion they are feeling when thinking of this piece or what emotion or vision they want to come across. Overall, I want my customer to be happy. A 50 percent deposit will be required for my protection as I would also have to purchase the materials and supplies. I will give them three quick and very rough drafts of the piece if necessary and which would allow them to give me more input in order to get closer to what they are looking for. Once we've decided on the idea i will give an estimated time frame and keep the client posted on my progress while taking their input along the way. when finished i will take the other half of the payment and either mail the painting or deliver it depending how far the person is for a flat fee of 100 dollars added onto the price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college but for Speech Pathology. I did take many types of art classes in college as a requirement and just because I enjoyed it so much. Mostly I do this because it is my passion and it comes from my heart. I have practiced for hours on end to get better at my craft and hope to share it with the world because art makes the world more beautiful and interesting.
