I had moved into a new space and hired Josh to come up with a cohesive plan for the space. It has a lot of windows, strong southern light, but was still very dark at night and lacked any real warmth. Josh did an amazing job of picking out colors, wall coverings -patterned and unpatterned- lighting, drapes, and even cabinetry, and tying it altogether in a really impressive way that makes the space feel totally warm, inviting, and yet very, very rich and beautiful. Josh has an innate sense of color and tone, coupled with his training in lighting and experience in working with textiles, to really maximize these elements and get an overall effect that is much more than the sum of each of those elements. I'm still amazed at how the patterned wallpaper -that I thought was too over the top- looks completely different in the day and at night, and adds so much character to the space. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is considering hiring a professional designer.

I work hourly and pass all designer discounts on to my client. Very simple.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course! The New York School of Interior Design changed my life and I'm always looking to see what mini seminars they are offering.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Honestly I owe it to Oprah. Yes, Oprah. I followed my passion and it has made me a very happy person.
