Goals

Introduction: My work stands out because of my own life experiences with both anxiety and serious injury. I have found a way to appreciate my own injuries and limitations, while surpassing what I "believe" is possible, just by being mindful and grateful. There are very simple, easy to use tools I have learned to allow your mind to work for you, instead of being run by your mind. They just need to be practiced. While I continue my journey with opening myself and my body/mind, I am excited and happy to share the joy of gratitude, movement, and meditation to others. I love connecting with others and seeing how we are all so similar in our humanity. There is so much we all know and feel just by being alive, and sharing that deepens our ability to let go of judgements of our selves. Seeing how we all need and enjoy gratitude, full deep breaths, and releasing the past is the most rewarding part of my job.

Brigette focuses on teaching from the inside out. It's not about forcing yourself into challenging positions- it's about dropping in and connecting to yourself- listening to your gut. If you are able to master a challenging position from a place of grace, true healing can begin. I find in other classes people get so jacked up about the end result and force themselves into positions they are not ready for which ultimately does more harm than good. Brigette focuses on encouraging you to drop your ego and truly listen to your body and to enjoy the journey no matter how long or short it is. When approaching yoga from this place there is so much more freedom and I find myself surprised at things I am able to do. I always leave her classes feeling very grounded and every part of my body feels activated yet calm. I can then begin to incorporate this feeling to the activities of my life outside of class.

I know that yoga is my own. Every movement my own, in my personal journey. With that said Brigette Davidovici is the most graceful, knowledge and gifted guides I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She has such a thoughtful approach to movement and alignment that made it easy for me even from my very first class.

Studying yoga with Brigette was probably the best thing that happened to me. I've practiced with numerous yogis, however it wasn't until I had the pleasure of being in her class that I felt a shift in my practice and my life. There's so many wonderful things I can say about her and her practice but I really don't know how or where to start. She's a beautiful soul.

After joining Total Woman gym I decided to try out yoga. I was very intimidated and a bit overwhelmed. Five minutes after placing my mat down in walks in this vibrant, beautiful and soulful individual who was the instructor. Her name is Bridgette and I was completely drawn to her and her amazing skills at yoga. Her beautiful soul radiated throughout the entire class. I always left feeling less stressed, happy, grateful and most importantly loved. Full of passion and Devine character Bridgette would lead our class. I was saddened and disappointed to see her leave and venture to a new state!! Love, Peace and Namaste

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I always renew my certifications, like CPR and First Aid, and I take new fitness instructor workshops with AFAA to always be up to date on the physical side of yoga - strength training and flexibility building. I also consistently take yoga and am a student as often as I can because I know there is no cap to what I can learn and pass on.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I wish that people knew that yoga is fun, exciting, and never ending. It's a physical work that opens and cleans the body, and it is a mental work that does the same to the mind. There is nothing that can't be achieved through yoga and meditation. It allows growth in your life, at exactly the pace you need and allow, without any judgement.
