My iron gate was misaligned and did not close properly. The “contractor” I found on Craig’s did terrible job “fixing”, making it it even worse.
Then I found Simon (my first time usingThumbtack). Simon arrived on time, listened patiently and made valuable suggestions. I received his quote within 12 hours.
The project was finished next working day according to agreement. Simon delivered very precise work. He even fixed details I neglected to include in the quote. The gate is aligned, latch fixed, lock installed and my gate closes perfectly.
I highly recommend Simon - you are in good hands with him.

i reached out to Simon to repair our gate and updating the latch. The work is solid, precise, and built to last. You can tell he takes pride in his craftsmanship the gate is perfectly aligned, and the new latch operates flawlessly. Clean work and great communication throughout. Highly recommend !

Simon responded immediately to my text late at night and showed up as agreed in the morning to inspect the work. It was a small job; to reinforce a metal gate. He had most things needed in his work van. He was kind enough to go pick up the latching system and fix as well. Everything done under two hours. His price was reasonable.

Simon was able to come out last minute to fix a broken bottom hinge on my iron gate. He was super responsive with communication and got the job done quicker than I expected. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All prices are based on the costs of materials since the price of steel fluctuates rapidly, not forgetting workmanship! As mentioned before … We are open to negotiations …
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once contracted a 30% deposit is required with the signing of the contract agreement! Upon completion the remaining 70% is collected upfront! We are open to negotiations so as to build long term relationships with all clients!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
OSHA 40 Hrs / Fire-watch & Torch Training / Welding skill was attained from on the job training!
