- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
During the estimate process, our goal is to gather as much information as possible in order to provide an accurate, flat rate estimate. Pricing reflects the volume of your items, conditions at both locations, and the materials we'll need to perform your service quickly and safely.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We don't see customers as leads. We want to be your go-to, neighborhood company for moving, delivery, and rubbish removal; the team you recommend to friends and family when they're in need of helping hands.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Matt Graber established Cool Hand Movers in 2010. The recession was in full swing, the job market was not ideal but with a bootstrap budget and a lot of determination, Matt built a strong client network based on quality work and trust. Cool Hand Movers has grown to a full-service moving company, with trucks on the road all over NYC. But the company has never sacrificed quality or professionalism just to book more jobs.
