Overall, I’m super glad I went with Cromont Moving for my long-distance move from New York to Georgia. They did a great job from start to finish. I actually had the same team of three gentlemen pick up my belongings, help me pack a few last-minute things, transport everything to Georgia, and move it into my new place. Seeing the same faces on both ends of the move made me feel especially good about choosing a family-owned business.
The only hiccup along the way was getting clarity around my exact delivery date, but they were very responsive by text and kept me updated throughout the process. While my belongings were being held temporarily in storage, they also sent me photos, which gave me extra peace of mind. Most importantly, everything arrived with zero damage.
My belongings arrived within three weeks, the pricing was very fair for a long-distance move, and I felt like my things were handled with care throughout the process.
Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend Cromont Moving for a long-distance move.

I had some heavy furniture thinking these guys would struggle but they were very good and fast, but maybe too fast. They gave me a flat rate but on second thought I should have asked for an hourly rate being they were so fast and efficient. All in all I highly recommend them.

I had such a great experience with Esquares Moving Company! They arrived right on time and worked with incredible efficiency while still being extremely careful with all of my belongings. Our prices are all-inclusive. We keep it fair & square.
Upfront, no time limits, no hidden fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Best method for us is a visual, be it video call or on-site estimate. Phone call with pictures is great as well. This is the best process of getting an all-inclusive quote.
Most of the time when there are changes or extra charges it's due to representative or sales consultant making a mistake or misrepresenting.
There is many components to a move, and just texting or phone call will not do it all. We can take more time and we will ask you for pictures because we care about providing correct estimates and preparing our crews and movers for the right move without surprises to the customer or us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Decades of experience from small to largest moving companies in NY. We have been at the bottom of the food-chain to the top. We have seen it all.
